I agree hahahaha
But I'll add something here, having a conversation with DH, I say what I wanted to say (the conversation was going great and we were actually talking) then he gets this blank stare at me and doesn't say a word!
Then gets pissy and says "I have to finish my work" which is ADHD talk for its time for you to leave!
Ah, the blank stare! :) It is very difficult when I can't keep his attention. I'm trying to keep in mind that we all have tendencies that are annoying to others, which in my case, the most frustrating tendency is probably my quick stress response. He is trying really hard to focus. I'm trying really hard to be understanding. But it does hurt a lot, and I struggle, significantly, with seeing his response as a lack of effort or love towards me! It really is just other stimuli, internal thoughts, or external input, that distracts him. But that is hard for me to remember on a daily basis, and in the moment!
